Before the Great Waters, giants walked the earth. But they were not the gods men believed them to be.
Enoch has spent his life working his father’s fields, hearing stories of the Holy One and the terrible rebellion that shattered the unseen world. But stories are not enough. He longs to leave the safety of home and discover the world for himself.
What he finds is more magnificent—and more dangerous—than he imagined.
Across the flourishing cities of the ancient world, powerful beings have set themselves up as gods. Their offspring, the Nephilim, are spreading violence and corruption across the land. And from the gleaming city of Eridu, the demon Enki is carrying out a plan that could bring humanity under the dominion of the Evil One.
Enoch is only a farmer.
But as his journey takes him deeper into a world of ancient cities, forbidden powers, monstrous giants, and a war most humans cannot see, he must decide whom he will trust—and whether an ordinary man can stand against beings who have convinced the world they are gods.
The old stories remember them as legends.
Genesis remembers them as the Nephilim.
This is the world before the Flood.
Seventh from Adam is an epic adventure into the mysterious world of Genesis 6, weaving the account of the Nephilim with the gods, cities, and legends of ancient Sumer.
